What’s in your dog’s bowl matters! 🐕✨ Here’s what to look for on the ingredients list to make the best decision for your furry friend:

1️⃣ Quality Protein: Look for NAMED sources like black soldier fly larvae, ostrich, or lamb. 🚫 Avoid vague terms like "meat meal," "by-products," or "fish meal," which often include low-grade, less digestible parts. The best protein comes from animals raised on a clean diet, free from antibiotics and hormones.
2️⃣ Healthy Fats: Omega-3 and omega-6 support a sharp mind and glossy coat. 🧠 Find these in marine algae, coconut oil, flaxseeds, and non-GMO canola oil. 🥥🌿 Stay away from rendered animal fats or fats labeled generically, as they may be lower in quality and heavily processed.

Happy International Dog Day ❤️

International Dog Day is celebrated to recognize the importance of dogs in our lives and to raise awareness about the need for adoption, responsible pet ownership, and the well-being of all dogs, whether they are pets, strays, or working dogs 🐕 The day, observed on August 26th each year, was founded in 2004 by animal advocate Colleen Paige. The date commemorates the day Paige’s family adopted their first dog.

Today we celebrate the bond between humans and dogs while also focusing on how we can help dogs live happier, healthier lives 🐶
