This tiny baby came to us yesterday after someone tried to raise her on their own. Over just the past two weeks, we’ve had eight similar cases—all with heartbreaking outcomes. This little one arrived emaciated, seizing, and dying. All we could do was make her last moments comfortable.

- Store-bought formulas don’t meet their nutritional needs. They clog the digestive system, causing dehydration and slow starvation.
- Incorrect feeding techniques cause aspiration pneumonia—babies literally drown while you’re trying to help.
- If your cat brought the squirrel in, the baby doesn’t need “mom”—it needs antibiotics.
- Even if you somehow keep a baby alive, human imprinting means it won’t survive in the wild without months of rehabilitation.
