We are back to take 2023 at the leash and provide yummy, healthy, affordable treats for your furrbaby for a WHOLE MONTH! 🐩🐕

We prepare a pawsome boxs of peanut butter cookies (no sugar or salt) for your Pooch in the size you require depending on the size of your dog. We can make XS-XL cookies. 🍪

Prices are as follows:

2 cookies a day (Medium sized): R140 PM
3 cookies a day (Medium sized): R200 PM
5 cookies a day (Medium sized): R340 PM

We can make bigger packages for families with many fur babies. 😍

To say I am tired is an understatement... But the joy, appreciation, growth and thankfulness overpowers the tiredness by a billion! My 1st time making Christmas Boxes and we received 50+ orders 🤯😭🥺😍 I am so blessed. So so blessed as a small business to receive so much orders and not having one negative feedback - I'm in awe. This is so sad. Looking for a foster for this stunning boy. 🥺🙏🏻

Please no negative comments, but this is the last call for Bullet. We tried him in a trusted foster home but he did not get on with the female dog resident.
With our only spot now taken up by Haley, at the vet, Bullet has nowhere to go.

As you can see he is super lovable, loves people and kids and was fine with non overbearing female dogs.
Cats unknown.

He is just over 2 years old, and the first part of his life was on a short chain. Then he thought he found his forever people but they decided to leave him behind when they relocated.

We cannot keep passing him from one home to the other, if we cannot find a stable foster home for him for at least a month, then we have done all that we can.

We have really been put in a sad situation, as Bullet is the 3rd dog whose family dumped him in December.

Our volunteers (and their parents) homes are full, so we are asking for a last time if someone has space for him, as an only dog for now, or smaller friendly female.

No "pack" will be considered
We will not put your cats at risk, so no cats.
He is also not going into a kennel.

Long shot, but with your shares, who know, we might find a miracle

🐶 Do it for the doggies! 🐶

We were blessed to meet Cheryl and thank her for all she does for the furr community ♥️ Cheryl Lyn's Rescue Organisation thank you for all your hard work 24/7 365 days a year. You are a true blessing to all that you have rescued and re-homed. You're a stunning individual! We need more people like you in this world ♥️

We gifted her and her doggies 300+ home made peanut butter cookies and some toys for the puppies. This is an extremely busy time of the year for us (and I am 100% sure for Cheryl too) but when I hear one of my clients going through to drop off some goodies to assist, we needed to do what we do best and that is to make yummy cookies 😊♥️ We will never be too busy for any charity event / charity center / fundraiser etc. We are here to assist where we can. Always ♥️

⚡🌬️Keep your babies inside 🌬️⚡

Please be sure to stay with your furr kids when the thunder hits. Hold them, stroke them, close them with a blanket, put on some music, just try and ease the huge amount of stress and panic these loud bangs have on them.

Remember, YOU are their safe place. The look to you for shelter and protection. Just like they would protect you if some body tries to break in... Do the same for them with 'little things' like thunder storms. It's the least us as humans can do. 🐶♥️

📍Does rawhide break down in a dog's stomach?
No, rawhide does not dissolve in the dog's stomach. In fact, the opposite is true — the rawhide swells up. Far from being broken down, rawhide forces your dog to pass the pieces they swallow, making for a risk of bowel blockage.

📍Is rawhide really that bad for dogs?
Rawhide is bad for dogs for a number of reasons. intestinal blockage. These concerns are so big, that the Humane Society and ASPCA both discourage the consumption of rawhide for pets. Also, Petco recently announced it will no longer sell traditional rawhide in its stores.

🐶 C H A R I T Y D R I V E 🐶

We are assisting a pawsome customer of ours with collecting and delivering some much needed items for a dog/cat charity (which name I won't be mentioning as it's a Christmas surprise). 🎄🐶 They need anything from dog/cat food, 5L waters, rice, chicken, blankets, fencing, pallets, toys, treats or even a cash donation. We have already baked over 200 large peanut butter cookies for them (more to be added) and will be adding more goodies.

Let's stand together and make some animals Christmas a special one. 🎄♥️ Giving to those that cannot fend for themselves really is a life changing feeling. Do it for the animals! ♥️

You can comment if you have anything you'd like to send with us. We can pick up at your location or you can drop off at mine.

We will be going to the shelter on Saturday, yes this Saterday, so time is limited. 😥

🎄🐶 P a w m a s B o x e s 🐶🎄

What a journey it has been! We had 44 boxes to make (and more coming)! And they are all done a week + in advance! 🤯 I could not have done it without my wonderful team ♥️ We had to drive around so much, with stuff being out of stock and having to look for other ways to meet the deadline we did it! Having to bake 700 + cookies with our amazing electricity provider was a huge challenge in itself. Late nights, early mornings, headaches and frustration due to the above mentioned was all worth it to see our progress all wrapped up nicely ready for deliveries ♥️😊 I want to thank each and every person who chose us to make their pup's Christmas a special one. You are a pawparent million ♥️🐶

🍪Dear organizations/people asking for sponsors form us... 🍪

We at PAWsome are a business, we have orders and deadlines to meet (not to mention Christmas time 🥴) . We work tirelessly till early hours of the morning to meet the above mentioned deadlines... We're only human. As all know (who have asked us), we will ALWAYS say yes to a fundraiser or charity event as being one of the sponsors. We will do anything and everything when it comes to animals, but please do not expect us to drop everything if you decide not to communicate due dates for the goodies. This will now be the 2nd time we had to pull out of an event due to the lack of communication (2-3 months with no feedback etc) and it's unlike us but as mentioned we cannot just drop everything. It is your responsibility as event coordinator to keep the communication flowing with yourself and the sponsors to ensure a successful day/event. Please take this bit of advice into 2023 and lets make it the best year ever with many events, fundraisers and love for the animals. 🐶🌸♥️

🌸Chloe's 5th barkday pupcakes🌸

🌼 Update on Buffy 🌺

Today the doctor at Panorama vet gave me a call to tell me that Buffy's autopsy results came back for the mass on her amputated tail...

We are so relieved, happy and greatful that Buffy's lump was NOT cancerous!!! 🙏🏻😭😍🥳 We are so very relieved! The old lady's tail is taking a bit longer to heal than expected as this sassy girl licked the wound open when we weren't home. But she will be going back to the vet next week for a checkup and until then the cone needs to stay on no matter how many puppy eyes she gives us.

Pushing forward! 💪🏻🐶

Loadshedding will and have never stopped us from getting the job done! When the power is off we mix, roll, and press out all the delicious cookies which will be ready for the oven when Eskom decides it's time we have some hours of electricity. I will then stay up till past midnight to make sure they are 100% to my standards and switch the oven off for the final cooling/harding process. Packaging & labeling commences the next day. It's hard work, but so worth it to produce healthy, hand made dog treats for all the lovely doggies out there. For me this is not work, it's a hobby & a true passion. ❤️

🐾 Buffy's update 🐾

What a rough day! We took our girl in this morning at 7:45am and she was only operated at 4ish pm. Doctor had many emergency surgeries to do so Buffy had to wait. It must have been so so traumatic for her. But alas she's home!! Thank you Lord that you kept your hand of protection over our baby ❤️🙏🏻 I am so so so happy she is finally home! If I didn't phone the vet 1st she most probably would have still been in her cage waiting till the doctor is done with all operations. He will phone me when he is done for the day but I said I am not leaving her another second. ❤️ Her brother was sulking the whole day, sleeping in her bed, wondering where she is - I just had to go fetch her. She is still woozy so we tucked her in. Hopefully she'll be her old self tomorrow. 🙏🏻🥺❤️

❣️Operation preparation❣️

Buffy can tell something is up. Tomorrow is her big day to receive her operation. She has to go in between 7am and 8am and then we'll have to wait for the call when they are done. My nerves are shot. I know she's very nervous around strangers and new places with strange smells. And being caged is also something she knows nothing about. I wish I could stay with her the whole day just comforting her, but that's not possible. 😢 It might be weird to say but I will miss her tail so much, we always use to call it her weapon. It had the strength and swing capacity of no other. It always showed her mood and her tail will ALWAYS wag when you speak to her or say her favorite words. I will miss when she's gone beneath the blankets and you'll say her name and just see her tail moving 😂 she will loose a big part of her (which seems small to others) but her tail was always my way to tell if she's okay. 🥺 I hope the operation is a huge success and she'll be back in our beds in no time. I have put together her care package with her blanky, teddy and ofcourse some of her moms best cookies for when she wakes up. My darling daughter, may you be protected while being asleep. May the doggy Gods keep you safe in their loving paws and hope the mass in your tail is not cancer. May you wake up feeling happy and not scared and may the doctors hands be guided by God. You are truly my heartbeat girl. You will always be. ❤️ I will be there the second I leave you and the second they phone I'll race to pick you up. Be strong my baby. You got this! You're not a BULL for nothing 💪🏻 ❣️

❤️RE: Buffy's Operation Fundraiser ❤️

I just woke up from a nap... When I walked into the kitchen my boyfriend told me 'Buffy's operation is paid'.... It felt like I was dreaming! 😭 One of our amazing clients has offered to pay her operation so that she could have it done asap 😭 I am in awe of how amazing our clients are. I am in awe how supportive the doggy community is. I am in awe that people will STILL give when most of the world is struggling. We will still pay him back on a monthly basis (which we would have been able to do ourselves if the vet would have allowed us, but unfortunately vet's don't work that way but amazing people do). 🙏🏻😭 Thank you for all the shares, and love you have already showed for Miss Buffy. We will keep you all posted on her journey 🥺🐾

The boxes are still for sale as we are still a small business, but it is no longer a need and as urgent as it was before. 🙏🏻 Your support no matter under what circumstances is always highly appreciated but us. This is our livelihood and we love you all!!

We have assembled the following boxes thus far to aid in Buffy's operation funding.

We have:

🐶 3 small cookies a day for a month combo, with a small hand made rope toy added for R120 (Available amount = limitless)

🐶 3 medium cookies a day for a month combo with a small hand made rope toy added for R200 (Available amount = limitless)

🐶 Biltong medium cookie 2 cookies a day combo with small hand made rope toy added R200 (available amount = limitless)

🐶 Variety combo. Medium pack of each of our flavor cookies we bake (7 flavors) R250 (available amount = limitless)

🐶 Barkboxes. Consists of 4 toys, 2 medium packs of peanut butter cookies, 1 x small activated charcoal cookies, 1x fresh breath cookies, 1x biltong cookies @ R250
(available amount = 3) (best suited for smaller dog breed)
