Have we reminded you lately how thankful we are for your support? We wanted to show you just how impactful it has been—please take a moment to check out some of our before-and-after photos to see just how amazing you all are. Without your support, none of this would be possible. This Winter has been particularly challenging for us, and like many NPOs, we’re facing the toughest time in our history. We have never owed as much money as we currently do. We could not turn away animals in need this past Winter but now find ourselves in a huge predicament.
We currently owe a total of R53 700.81 to vets/kennel/pharmacy. We are having to turn animals away. This can't be right! ANY donation—yes, even just R10—can make a significant difference. We need to get back on our feet and our only source of funding is the public.

If you’re not in a position to make a financial contribution, we’d still be incredibly grateful if you could share, like, and interact with our posts. Your support in any form helps us spread the word and reach even more people. We’re calling on your incredible support once again during this critical time and sincerely thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do!

We are deeply thankful for the generous support of our donors, but right now, we are struggling to keep our heads above water. This long, brutal winter has overwhelmed us with animals in desperate need, and we’re finding it nearly impossible to cope financially. We are completely dependent on your donations. Please, we urgently ask you to help us cover our mounting vet bills—no matter the size, your contribution could be the lifeline we so desperately need.

Meet Gigi
Gigi literally lived on the streets with homeless people for many years. Her owner then moved away and Gigi (known as Gstring on the streets) was left to cling to whomever was around and was often cruising the Camps Bay beachfront on her own. Long story short, she found a wonderful family to take her in but we have come to learn she is not cat friendly. She is a healthy, loving 3 year old dog. Very friendly with all people of all ages including young children and she loves playing with other dogs. She loves, loves, loves walks on the beach (and Pina Coladas) and walks on the mountain. She is very obedient and comfortable on or off a lead. She is happy in the car too, and comfortable at doggy day care/ kennels. She is a perfect dog for a loving home. She just needs attention and exercise, and we think she would love a dog or two to play with. She really is so easy going but just needs to be close to her people and get a good dose of exercise. Please help us find Gigi the perfect home.

Meet Teddy, we rescued him found while two big dogs where tearing him apart . Leaps got him to the vet and managed to save him..he is now in foster and has totally healed and ready for his forever home.. he is a small breed and a real cutie 🥰 He loves being indoors and is house-trained and sleeps indoors in his foster parents room at night.

Teddy loves to cuddle on the couch in the evenings or at least lie near-by on a chair or his little bed. Can be mischievous with any items lying around and will carry them around, for example ,slippers, shoes or socks. 🤩

He is very clever and astute and will bark when he sees movement outside, but other than that, as quiet as a mouse. He loves to play with other dogs and will play with other dogs his size as his foster had visitors with dogs for a weekend, and they played until they couldn't anymore. He loves his foster parents cat so will adjust to a new cat .❤️

Teddy does not eat his foster out of the house, just nibbling on his pellets during the day and then they add some wet food at night. His leg was broken from the attack from the other dogs but it has reattached as they have been giving him collagen for a month and no pain is evident anymore.

Teddy is a real cutie and can be your lap dog.. he would also make a lovely dog for a retired couple 💕

Please share for this handsome fella to help find his forever home ❤️
