Off to see mom and pups. 2 of the puppies got stolen last night 😫😡, but they were trying to find the boys who took them. I left them Food and a Kennel too. Hopefully the stolen 2 can be found 🥺.

And a visit to mom and pups at the school (the litter Abbey and Bonney came from, the sick malnourished pups that went for treatment and are in foster care). I hoping to take the 2 pups for vaccinations tomorrow, last Friday, and to adoption day on Saturday.

Visiting Bobbi and Pablo I got a great welcome, as always 😍.

Pablo got his own kennel (he was too excited though about the food I brought, so Bobbi came check it out 😂). Kennel was donated by the . Bobbi and him are starting to fight over who can and can’t sleep in the first one I put there.

Such sweet dogs. I left some food as owner is still struggling, as so many others 🥺.

Last week Thursday at 7:00 I picked up sweet Lion to take to AACL for his check up and bandage change. On my way back in the afternoon I got the call. Another operation needed, he is in theatre now ( 😫!!!). I couldn’t really say “don’t do it , we are running out of funds” 🥺 so… we will deal with the aftermath and hope all went well… 💚. Will update as soon as possible 😊

After the vaccination day when I returned had to) all the pups to their homes, I couldn’t stop thinking about these pups, as their siblings got stolen already. Unfortunately the family decided to keep Mickey, but even though I know I shouldn’t have (too many fur kids to look after and no one adopted) , I took them home.

So now both of these cuties are looking for their furever 💚! They will both be large dogs, Mom is big, daddy is medium, but judging by the size of their "anything but minute paws" and size at 7 weeks. They are adorable though, really nice temperaments 💚🥰

And poor Benji has been in the wars again. Got a call last weekend, bad wound where his balls should have been, by the time I took him to the PDSA on Monday morning it was huge 😳. Emergency operation, but he is feeling much better already and will be fine !

On Saturday, 14 September, I picked up Khokho and 2 of his friends to meet the BWC youth club at the museum of dogs (Emihle couldn’t make it). What a great outing! Had a great Indian meal afterwards too! Thank you Heather and Graham for the invite !!! 💚

You all remember Lion who went for a operation to fix his leg. In the beginning of this month Katja got a call and checked on him. Poor Lion was thrown with a giant brick. In efforts to try and save his leg he went for an x-rays and a expensive operation. The operation alone cost R2 000.

We are currently holding a raffle to raise the funds to pay the vet bill for the visits, x-rays and operation.

On Friday we loaded a kennel, dropped at school, put a nice bed and blanket and fed everyone.

This little girl and her sister were not looking good at all though. They had to see the vet. And so they did! First the mobile clinic and then the Vet at the PDSA.

A long agonizing wait for the distemper test results and biliary. All negative🥳 still a lot that wasn’t right, and Jennifer agreed on taking them back home to nurse to health (THANK YOU!!!💚)

They will be growing up to a small medium and will be up for adoption as soon as they are better 😊

Got a call from Phumla, Bingo's mom. She can’t handle a dog anymore, please can he go, can I find a home for him? He got so excited to see me, it was difficult to take pictures.

Bingo is about 1.5 years old, very energetic, friendly and between medium and large size.

Yesterday I went to pick up Lion and Thabo to take to AACL for bandage change. I was told I was too late (didn’t know I had to go be there before 8🤷‍♀️, so just a quick check up and a rescheduled visit f next week. 😏

On Saturday I got a call from AACL. Lion is ready to go home 🥳 I shuffled things around and quickly went to Langa to pick up Thabo (owner) . We got there just in time. A VETY happy Lion and a VETY happy Thabo 😁💚😍

Happy to be back home!!! Op was more expensive and complicated than expected, but hopefully the leg is saved. The next 4 weeks will show. Follow up and bandage change on the 12th.

Went to look for mommy and Leopard , but no one home. Will have to tick and flea treat them another time 🤷‍♀️

A quick visit past Khokho’s dogs. Beautifully ckean (got washed when I left the shampoo) and got their tick ,flea and worm treatment (long overdue!!!)

A food drop off for Bubi, and he wolfed down the dewormer (in a couple of pieces of sausage) 😁. (got his tick and flea treatment last time already). Such a beautiful doggie ☺️ but very selective as to who is allowed to touch him. Females are fine (once accepted as friends!), males…. Hmm 🤔, not so much … Dylan was told off 😬.

Last Friday started with Zoë and Dylan joining and picking up these two pups (belonging to one of the younger boys in Langa now), to take them f vaccinations.

Unfortunately, while driving there, we noticed the pups coughing. Not healthy enough f vaccinations but got some medicine for the cough, dewormed them and gave them tick and flea treatment. One of them wasn’t too keen on eating (even though we brought nice food). Will have to follow up.

Quick check up on Chico, after first hesitation she couldn’t get enough of the cuddles ☺️💚

Left her some food and more blankets and got the owner to clean up her kennel). She got dewormed and treated for ticks and fleas.
