NEW in store! It is sometimes tough to say goodbye to some products when you eat with the seasons but then the excitement of having the new products come in makes you appreciate them all that much more and look forward to the moment they will be ready for harvest again!

We are proud to be stocking some gorgeous new pasture-raised dairy products at our Kendal Rd store. They are a second generation family farm with a very well looked after herd of mixed Holstein Friesland and Jersey cows that are proudly hormone free with a very proud and passionate farmer making sure they are super happy and healthy. The products from speak for themselves!!
We love being able to supply top quality ethical dairy products to our customers and are happy to say that we have a wonderful range of delicious healthy options from 4 different farms. Mysthill Dairy, A2 Dairy Co and Dalewood Fromage being the other 3. These products are free from all the preservatives one usually finds in supermarket dairy isles and they may vary in flavour based on what pasture the herd is feeding on, etc. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!!

🌿✨ Yesterday was an epic day! Our beautiful logos have arrived and been installed—what a heartwarming and proud moment for us. As new stock arrives, our store is truly beginning to take shape. We have everything your family needs, from fresh organic produce sourced directly from our local farmer Metro Organics to mouthwatering olive ciabattas and a variety of goods from our amazing suppliers.

We’re feeling so grateful and blessed to be part of the Kommetjie community. The rain is almost behind us, and we’re all ready to come out of hibernation to embrace the warmth of summer and everything we have to offer. 🌞🌸

This winter has felt particularly hard. For the farmers with flooded crops, rain/storm damage and stunted growth from the cold. It's easy to see and grasp nature's physical reponse to the weather. From the conversations we are having with our customers and community, it seems everyone has been feeling a little stunted and bogged down. Let's not forget that we ARE a part of nature, we ARE enduring the same weather as the plants, crops, orchards, dams and rivers... that it impacts us and our state of being just as much. We have the option to find shelter, yes, but that doesn't mean our senses are fooled and are not now feeling cooped up and "watching the world go by" whilst we go on with our daily life. Feeling perhaps confused and more and more disconnected from Nature. This weather will pass, the rain and wind will stop and we will be able to go outside and breathe in the sun and blue skies again. Let's remember though to do just that - to go and sink our feet into the wet soil and be grateful that we can appreciate it all and that we are not just witnessing it, but that we are a part of it.
