One of our Vet-Clin staff members will be visiting the Kogelberg Biosphere Wildlife Rescue & Training Centre this coming weekend to assist with the devastating storm damage caused by last Monday’s Cape storms. 🌧️🦉

If anyone is able to assist with any of the urgently needed items, all donations/items need to be dropped off at our vet by latest this Friday.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible fur moms, dog dads, rescue parents, foster heroes and every animal lover who gives their heart to a furry soul every single day. 🐾💖

Thank you for the cuddles, late night worries, muddy paw prints, endless treats, and unconditional love you give so freely. Your pets may not say it in words, but they feel your love in every moment.

Tinka, one of our receptionist furkids, has issued an official weather warning 📢🐾

With heavy rain and cold weather on the way, she is reminding everyone to please make sure your furries are safe, dry, and warm. ☔❄️

Tinka reports she is fully prepared for the conditions and will be remaining under her blanket until further notice… possibly forever. 🛏️😄

Today we got to meet a very special girl named Cookie. She is an 8-year-old blind fur kid who is beautiful and definitely living her best life. We’d like to give a huge shout-out to her amazing parents who let her just be a dog—sniffing, exploring, and soaking up all the joy. Proof that love and trust make all the difference. 💛🐾🐶✨

To every family who trusted us with your beloved companion this year — thank you. It is a privilege we never take lightly. Your pets have left paw prints not only on your lives, but on ours too. Each visit, each wag, each purr, and each goodbye has reminded us why we do what we do. We carry these moments with us, always.

As we step into 2026, we wish you a year filled with healing, hope, and gentle new beginnings. May it bring wagging tails, soft purrs, warm cuddles, and moments that make your heart smile when you least expect it.

🎉 Celebrating Dr Dave Kyle’s Retirement 🎉

Today we honour a man who has dedicated more than 30 years to Vet-Clin and to the countless animals and families whose lives he touched.

Dr Dave Kyle isn’t just a veterinarian — he’s been a mentor, a steady hand, a compassionate heart, and a truly respected member of our community.

As he steps into this next chapter, we know he won’t be slowing down. Dr Kyle is an avid fisherman, and we’re sure many peaceful days on the water are waiting for him — along with long-overdue trips to visit his children and grandchildren overseas.

Thank you, Dr Kyle, for your decades of care, dedication, and wisdom. You leave behind a legacy of kindness, excellence, and integrity that will forever be part of Vet-Clin.
