Currently the dogs eat 200kg per week , and we also feed dogs from Bloekombos.
Our food is running very low. We usually feed Mighty Max , but any dog food is welcome please🙏🏼

PLEASE think of the dogs living shelters in weather like today! You can give them a warm place by fostering or adopting. They didn’t choose to be born but we have a choice to help them. Jack's Rescue, Imagine Animal Dreams, TEARS Animal Rescue, Chocolate Angels Animal Rescue, Dogs Deserve Better Rehabilitation Centre all have special furries that need love and a warmer place.

Think of the strays and street dogs dying of hyperthermia now - born to life of hell as a result of inadequate sterilisations. Support our Mandela day Spay 67 and HELP!

Oupa is another one of our old timers that needs to get out of the cold. He was found wandering on the highway.
Unfortunately Oupa must be an only animal and definitely no small children.
He doesn't need a lot, he is happy just to sleep most of the day.

Come fetch this dog, I can't use it anymore.
That is the message I received regarding Jezebel, now called Jezz.
Jezz is at the shelter now.

Puffy was brought in for treatment. Malnourished and skinny underneath those puffy hair on his back. He also has a very bad case of untreated mange. Puffy had Nexguard and got dewormed , his skin gets treated and he gets a medicinal bath every day. He is scheduled for sterilization as soon as his skin gets better. Please help me get dogs like Puffy back to the beautiful , healthy dogs they deserve to be🙏🏼 There are so many more in Bloekombos that needs help, and I can only do so much on my salary. Staying right next to Bloekombos , I hear them barking at night , I see them running around on my way to work and back. Every day I pray for a miracle so I can help them all! I have rent to pay, I have salaries to pay , the vet bill is sky high. I cannot go on without help. Please help me to be able to carry on to help them🙏🏼🙏🏼 Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Diggit and her brother Duke are two of the Bloekombos doggies I have been taking care of since they were little pups. Their owner really loves them , but three weeks ago someone left the gate open and a car drove over Diggit's front paws. They immediately brought her to me. On Monday she had her third anesthesia to try and get the skin attached again. Friday she needs to go back. I pay for Diggit's and all the other doggies treatment out of my own pocket. Imagine Animal Dreams is an animal rescue center situated in Joostenbergvlakte, just outside Cape Town. Our Mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned, abused and stray dogs and cats.

We are a Non-Profit Organisation committed to providing quality of life for the animals in our care and to helping cats and dogs in local communities. Imagine Animal Dreams is a safe haven run by the founder, Cecilia Jacobs, it is a place where abused, abandoned and stray pets can live in harmony. A place where they get a second chance at life, Cecilia and her staff will do anything in their power to place each of the pets in a new loving forever home.

Ideally, we would like our dogs and cats to be suitably homed for life and cared for by responsible owners. While they remain at our shelter, we strive to provide an environment where our animals are protected, well cared for and loved.

Our aim is to sterilize and to eliminate cruelty to animals, whether arising from ignorance, neglect or deliberate cruelty and to alleviate suffering and promote well-being.
