Our dream for our doggies is to build them solid brick structures that is more weather friendly than our current fence camps.

Remember the family of 10 surrendered recently?
Ninja went to the vet , but unfortunately there was nothing they could do for his leg , and amputation was the only option.
He is not very happy with the cone at the moment, but soon it will be off and he will be able to run like other doggies,no more stiff leg to hook on things and keep him back!!
Ninja's bill came to R1800,00.

This morning Nadia and myself went into Bloekombos to find dogs for sterilisations and to give food.
Scout's owner asked us for help as a car ran him over and his leg is broken.
It turns out that it's not his legs , but his pelvis high up at the spine that is broken.
Scout is currently in hospital and we will get more feedback by tomorrow morning.

So this family of 10 , yes , 10 , got surrendered to Imagine yesterday. Mom with 7 pups and 2 older pups.
Seems like the older boy broke his leg at one stage and it grew back completely scew.
He is going to need x-rays and for that leg to be fixed. Littlies need vaccinations. Deworming and deticking and defleaing done .
If you could help in any way with their vet treatment, please🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I apologise for the long post.🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have started this post so many times , but just couldn't get to sharing it. I have come to a point where I have to. I know there will be those that will have nasty comments , but so be it.
I carry the financial cost of Imagine by myself.
I am too old for a permanent job, so I locum , meaning I only get paid for the days I work . Sometimes I'm lucky and I get booked 7 days for the week. Other times , like this past week , I got booked for 3 days . Rent is R10 000,00 and salaries is R 8 000,00 . Then there is still the vet bill of R6000,00.
The running cost per month comes to about R26 000 ,00.
I was extremely blessed with dog food , and for that I am grateful.
I am not writing this to gain sympathy, I chose this path , but I need help.
I am not perfect , I made mistakes , I did things wrong , I had to make decisions that killed a piece of me in order to keep Imagine running .
I don't take in dogs anymore, every now and then the odd one comes around , and I help , but I'm situated right next to Bloekombos and I get flooded with people with pleas for help.
I focus on sterilising as many as possible. Thank you Giving is Living- Cape Town for always sponsoring the sterilisations.
I won a competition with a construction company about a year ago to build sturdy brick kennels , but after two visits , I haven't heard a word back.
I am not witty , I just say a thing as it is in my heart , and right now I desperately need R30 000,00 to keep going.
To me that is a fortune , but there are over 4000 people on this page.
I saw with the post about Connor how many reactions there were.
If each one could just donate a R50 or R100 , Imagine will be out of the woods and can carry on.
Please , it's 300 × R100 or 600 × R50.
Help me carry on.
