This is little Angus, a 4 year old long haired Dachshund. Angus presented on Friday with a complete intestinal obstruction. We operated and removed a very big clump of hair that got stuck. All is well that ends well….Angus recovered very well and went home to his mum who had missed him very much today 🥰

10 days ago 14 year old Dash got acutely ill over the weekend. A ruptured abdominal tumour was diagnosed. His mummy loves him very much and brought him to us in the hope that there might be another option that could save him. After some diagnostics we operated and removed the growth and Dash has made a remarkable recovery. Today we received the fantastic news that it was a low grade tumour with a favourable prognosis. Our hearts are full watching Dash happily trot around the waiting room full of life and ready to live it 💛

This is how relaxed our feline patients are in our beautiful cat ward, even with intravenous drip line when not feeling well 😁Here Aspen, the beautiful Ragdoll, is making full use of her separate sleeping, litter tray and movement/eating area with perch. Our cat ward is soundproof ensuring faster recoveries in a calm quiet environment. We have a Feliway Diffuser Plug-In to further reduce stress. Cats get stressed extremely easy and this is often neglected in a veterinary environment. With our separate cat waiting area, purpose built cat ward and gentle handling techniques we aim to be a stress free feline clinic.
