Had a super super day at the SAASA cat show held in Edgemead Cape Town yesterday. Our two Devon Rex's, Ella the harlequin and Duffy, black and white received glowing reports from the judges. Both were nominated as Best kitten qualifiers out of a big kitten class competing for Best Kitten of the day! Very very proud of these two. Thank you to the breeder Tracy Nairn for entrusting Ella and Duffy to us!!
Then Kamdeboo Ferrero Roche Enzo the chocolate burmese boy owned by Anene Engelbrecht also received super reports. Thank you showing Enzo and loving him so much!!
Thank you to Adrienne Swart and the committee for a very well run show, it takes a lot of effort and time to organise and run a show successfully!! Well done. Thanks to all the sponsors, Hill's Pet Nutrution and Cats best!

Beautiful Sp Ch Pearl African Drums Serenade ( Boetie ), breeder Penny Steyn, and Kamdeboo Babushka are the parents of U-ME.
U-ME was awarded the honour of the Cape's Top Cat at yesterday's event hosted by WP Cat Club at Vredenheim Wine Estate.
Thank you Penny Steyn for entrusting Boetie with us, a boy we adore, with a gentle massive heart!!!

Extremely proud and priveledged, this little Lilac tortoise shell girl Kamdeboo U-Me has done Kamdeboo so proud this year. She continues to show herself so well. She became Supreme Champion and awarded best Adult on Show at the WP Cat Club show this past weekend. Her father is Pearl African Drums Serenade ( a cream Burmese boy from Penny Steyn ) and her Mommy is Kamdeboo Babushka ( a blue Burmese, Kamdeboo born ). U-ME and her winning 2023 COTY rosettes.
Very proud of U-ME at the age of only 15 Months was awarded Best Burmese, Best Adult and SACC's Runner Up Cat of the Year 2023.

She also wants to congratulate each and every one of the 75 qualifiers, all Winners and truly did their owners and breeders very very proud!!!
She also wants to congratulate the COTY 2023 Overall Winner, Stanlee the Avenger a beautiful oriental from the Eastern Cape, owner Delene Botha and bred by Karen Labuschagne. She even winked at this handsome fellow 😉😻.

Thank you to all the SACC 2023 committee members who put this event together, all the judges and stewards as well as all the very generous sponsors ( Royal Canin and many others ).

She also wants to thank her Mommy Kamdeboo Babushka and Pearl African Drums Serenade of Kamdeboo ( Penny Steyn ) for raising her so beautifully.

She admits that she did not realise being beautiful takes lots of work and can be very tiresome, it took many hours of travelling to local shows as well as roadtrips to Swellendam and two trips to the Eastern Cape and the long long trip to Jhb for COTY. She does enjoy people though, loves the friendships made along the road and just having fun... thats what it is all about!!!

So so proud of our Burmese Lilac Tortie girl U-Me. She became a Champion at the Independent Shows hosted by ABCC in Milnerton yesterday. She was nominated in all three shows CLASA, Chats du Cap and ABCC. She ended Overall Winner Clasa and Runner Up ABCC.
Overall Winner Cat of the Day competing with a beautiful Maine C**n and a Black Oriental.

When you get pics like these you know in your heart that breeding is worth it.... the influence a pet has on children is incredible. This little girl has SCID and has weekly infusions, Mommy says she believes Simba is one of the reasons why she is able to fight/ cope with the condition.
