Noordhoek Pony Club

Noordhoek Pony Club We have been in existence for over 90 years and are the world’s largest association of young riders. I shall treat my horse with consideration.

Our purpose is:
To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sports connected with ponies, horses and riding. Join a branch, centre, or centre plus in your area, and attend monthly rallies with your horse or pony. Enjoy the time with like-minded people, who are as passionate about horses as you are. To give instruction in riding and horsemastership and to educate members to

look after and to take proper care of their animals. We have vast training experience and training materials, and the welfare of our animals and the safety of our members is always paramount. To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, in order to create strength of character and self-discipline. Participate in team events and community service activities. We include Friends of Pony Club in our structure, and assist in training your groom. As a member of the South African Pony Club, I stand for the best in sportsmanship as well as in horsemanship. I shall compete for the enjoyment of the game well played and take winning or losing in my stride, remembering that without good manners and good temper, sport loses its cause for being.

Almost time for our AGM. Here are some important housekeeping notes for you all this week:
- Please rsvp on the main group (if you haven't already)
- Please return all trophies to Monica ASAP so any repairs can be carried out
- Please send your pizza orders to Ingrid
- Remember to wear your Pony Club shirt on the night
- Mums and dads, please bring a chair to sit on

Only three sleeps left until our Haunted House fundraiser kicks off! Alongside the tractor ride and guided walk past the graveyard, there’s a jumping castle for little monsters to enjoy. Each guest will receive a goodie bag filled with treats, and the night wraps up with a family picnic on thw field. Get ready for an evening packed with chills, thrills, and fun for all — don't miss it!

Dare to walk through our haunted house at the Noordhoek Riding Club - NRC on 31st Oct

Each child receives a small goodie bag at the door and goes on a guided walk at 6pm to collect sweets.

Tractor rides are from 5 to 6 and pumpkin bowling for small treats.

There's also a jumping castle.

Arrive from 5pm
Picnic on field or buy from Love Pizza. Pancakes and hot chocolate for sale as well

Join us for a spook-tacular fundraiser at the Haunted House! Enjoy a thrilling tractor ride on the field, followed by a guided ghostly walk past a graveyard as well as collecting a few sweets along the way. Each ticket includes a fun goodie bag filled with treats, and after the scares, relax with a picnic and some fun pumpkin bowling. It’s a frightfully good time for a great cause.

31 October 5pm – 8pm. The event is open to everyone, with children’s tickets for R100 and adults go free.

Join us for a fun-filled evening at Noordhoek Riding Club. Bring your own picnic or buy pizza, pancakes and coffee from our vendors.
