While you don't want a dog to become "dangerous" or disobedient, teaching them that they can win is part of building their confidence and desire to play & learn with you in a positive mind space. ♥️

A "down stay" is a dog training command that requires a dog to lie down and remain in that position until released by command.

Being an individual k9 handler is difficult and time consuming at times, But this Family "Thee Jacobs Family" involves Mother, Father, both daughters , Mage(German Shepard) & Diesel (Pitbull) , not only as a family bond but to communicate sufficiently to each other as well as their furry friends.

Craig , Tammy & the Girls remember ... we are interconnecting with a different species (Many was Called but a few were chosen).

We train a dog for recall, start in a low-distraction environment and use a unique word in a happy voice. Entice your dog to come to you with praise, by running backward, or with a treat, and reward them enthusiastically as soon as they arrive.

This ensures your dog to listen to his/her owner from a distance at a young age.

Motivational Monday - Puppy Socialization/Basic Obedience

With an Exciting Weekend behind our backs 🥳, We are brought back to our Cute bundle of furry friends .

Meet our Puppy Handers & their beautiful K9 counterparts, in our amazing Sunday Morning session (09h00-10h15).

Remember General Rules while training in Process :
- No smoking 🚭
- 1 Handler per K9 🚹🦮
- No open shoes 🩴
- No bags or accessories that will bother Handlers or K9s
- Ensure that there is no objects that could hurt Handler/s or K9s
K9 Rules while training:
- Ensure the training chain is on correctly [No harnesses]
- always keep short leash, unless differently commanded.

And remember Training never stops... Go home and do your Homework ✍️🧑‍🏫
