Dear Clients.

Firstly, i would like to thank everyone who has sent messages of love and support and prayers during this difficult time. It means the world to me.

I know some of you have said you will wait for me. Unfortunately i dont feel it would be fair to keep the dogs waiting, as i have decided i will not be returning to grooming.
As hard a decision as this was to make, I know in my heart it is the right one.

Thank you all for your love, support, advice, guidance,trust and laughs throughout the last 8 years, it has been an honour and privilege to groom your fur babies. I am heartbroken and will miss them all terribly, but it is time for me to focus on my healing in order to move on to the next chapter of my life.

It's been a week of medicine fights again, but my little man is right back to his normal crazy self again. Shouting the odds as we speak 😅

Snowy and Lilly would like to introduce their new sister to the family. Tessa is such a joy to groom. At 5 months old, she sits and handles everything grooming related like an absolute pro.I am so proud of the progress her older sisters have made as well. Love these 3 little musketeers.

Morning all and happy Monday.

Just a few things id like to mention, regarding some operational changes I will be making.

Please note the new operating hours for PLDG are as follows:

🌸Monday - Closed
🐩Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9:00 - 17:30
🌸Friday to Sunday- Closed.

🌸Please note I am not taking on new clients for the forseeable future as I will be focusing on a few other things for the time being.

🌸 Price increase coming in February 2023.

Good morning all. 💙

Compliments of the season to you all! May 2023 bring you all the happiness, love and peace your heart desires!

Thank you all for all your love and support, its been an amazing journey with you all.

Now, my "opening" for 2023 will be a little delayed due to an ankle injury. I know, not the best way to start the year, but we roll with the punches. 💪🏻

I am currently waiting on Xray results, but either way I will be "out of order" for the week and back in office on Monday.

All bookings will be adjusted accordingly, and everyone will have their grooming dates for January by then.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused, but i unfortunately cannot risk injuring myself any further.

New things coming in February so keep an eye put for that.

Hello all!

There is a level 4 storm warning for tonight and tomorrow in Cape Town. ⛈️⛈️

Please remember to keep those furries inside and calm during this time. So many babies are getting frightened and running away from home.

Some tips on how to deal with "Storm stress"
◾️Play some music. Youtube has a great variety of calming music for dogs. ( Or even cartoons or a nature show)
◾️Thundershirt or thunder jacket.
◾️Keep the TV on.
◾️Enrichment games.
◾️Loads of cuddles and love. (Comforting your dog during stressful times will only help them, not reinforce the behaviour)
◾️CBD oil or calming meds recommended by your vet.
◾️Always ALWAYS make sure to keep your pets microchip information up to date. This counts for their name tags aswell.
◾️Try to keep things as "normal" as possible. If you are calm, that will also help to calm them. They feed off our energy.

Finally...
You are their safe space. Keep that in mind.
