In this episode we're testing an old race boat while on summer holidays with the family.
The boat has only been a disappointment. It took us over a year to fix the motor, so that the boat can run again, and to strengthen the transom, so that it doesn't fall off the boat.

This is a world renowned GREAT WHITE SHARK cage diving spot in South Africa which we decided is a good spot for fishing.

You will not find divers or spearfishers here. This is close to the renowned GREAT WHITE island.

This time we're not diving but catching fish.

I went 30 hours without food.

I was determined to make sure I spearfish to be able to eat for the day - no fish meant no eating. After we did some exciting underwater spearfishing, we went into a bay and cooked the fish on the boat, on the water. We never had fish this fresh! It was truly something special to experience.

Challenge is not to eat for 24h and then go hunting if you don't shoot any fish for the day you don't eat for another 24h. So it adds up to a total of 48h with no food.

LAUNCHING ALONE.
This is how I launch my boat when I’m alone.

I will walk you through the steps I use to launch my 25-foot Flamingo singlehanded.

LAUNCH AT YOUR OWN RISK! MAKE SURE YOUR OUTBOARD OR OUTDRIVE IS OVER THE WATER BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT SAFETY CHAINS!

Check with your dealer for exact launching directions for YOUR BOAT. THIS METHOD IS FOR MY BOAT and is not the best method for EVERY boat.

IF YOU HAVE A ROLLER STYLE TRAILER, YOUR BOAT CAN ROLL OFF THE TRAILER AT ANY TIME!!

Please be safe on the water and leave a few fish for me!

How I made 10$ stainless steel HANDRAILS for my BOAT. (Step by Step - HOW TO)

I had some second hand stainless steel poles that was lying around in the yard and made easy handrails for my boat that was much needed. No one on the boat knew where to hold when they where standing in the front. Specially when you slam down on the 225HP V6 outboard and there is a small swell it feels unsafe 😆 imagine a big swell.

This DIY almost cost me nothing because I had second-hand stainless steel lying around. It's cheap and easy to-do yourself specially if you need multiple handrails, they are normally so over prices.

I hope this video was helpful - when you are making your own DIY handrails and save some bucks.

Here we are diving in DIRTY water, which I won't recommend to anyone, especially if you know that where you are diving, there is 0.10% chance of Great Whites. There is some very (SMALL) benefits in diving in dirty water, as you will see.

Thank you so much for being part of our community. We hope this video brings some excitement and that it can inspire you to also get out in the nature and to adventure.

In this episode, we went on a fun adventure, sailing from Simon's Town to Smitswinkel Bay where we dived and spearfished two beautiful Red Romans. We enjoyed the lovely weather and the amazing scenery that the coastline had to offer. We also added some tips and tricks in the video on catching and cooking the Red Roman fishes.

We will start from ground level for someone that never shot a yellowtail up to hidden techniques that no one shares, so that you land more yellowtail on your dives.
