Folks, yesterday 22 January 2025, Duane our Call Out and Patrol Officer received 96 phone calls and 67 Whatsapps. Due to limited resources, we do not have the luxury of a Call Centre!

There were 12 horses on the road, three registered and the rest were unregistered cart horses. Duane had asked them all to go home. Those not having a E53 were given a compliance notice.

Folks, although we have had 8 so deserving horses being adopted out, we still have 37, YES, 37 HORSES in our care at our Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre. With 24/7/365 care and their every need taken care of.

Remember Hawk Eye that was rescued by our precious cart horse angel in heaven, Melony? He was the worst case of abuse and neglect I have ever seen in my time at CHPA🥲 Skin and bone, open wounds on every inch of his body. He is now thriving in our care and also looking for his forever home. His time will come🙏

Folks, all the girls arrived safely at their new home last night which is a huge farm outside George. They all left together and all arrived together safely.

Lots of tears of joy and sadness were shed yesterday as all these girls have crept so deeply into our hearts and we are missing them already. But we are over the moon they are all together in their new home. They truly have come full circle with CHPA.

Everyone who have donated to CHPA, this is what we have achieved and do together. Thank you!

Folks, the day has arrived for Rose, her daughter Shilo, Amazing and her daughter Roxy, Fausie, Autumn Honey, Black Beauty and Grace to travel to their forever home🙏

An absolute cart horse angel who has a beautiful farm decided to adopt them all and give them their forever home they have been waiting so patiently for.

We are all going to miss each and every one of them and will never forget their journey with us.

Folks, I went to our Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre last week and just did not want to leave! It is just such an incredible place of peace and healing. Those horses that were neglected and abused, have regained their trust in humanity due to our exceptional grooms, Alan, Regine and of course Diana!

Folks, I went to our Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre on Tuesday and arrived just in time to film Roman receiving his breakfast from Regine. I can eat this little boy up with a spoon.
