Meet the women at our Claremont branch 👋

We have:

Yasmin - I’m not always seen but I’m always there 😉 I’m the bones of the place and my job role varies.

Kecia - She is our sassy 2ic and head of grooming. She is a lady with a big heart ❤️

Nicole - dog stylist and front of house. She will make you feel at ease with her calming nature but please do hide your husky, if she can she will keep them.

Kacey- our grooming stylist. She is small and compact but she gets the job done. If she’s not grooming she is cuddling a dog or three.

Although my team has a set role, I’ve also made them versatile in order to fill in any other role that is needed.

I pride myself on team work and serving one another and it is important my team do the same.

Owen - Our go to go and head of daycare. You may at times find him out our Seapoint branch.

McDonald- The wise guy and head of prep. He will make sure your dog is clean and ready for grooming.

Although my team has a set role, I’ve also made them versatile in order to fill in any other role that is needed.

I pride myself on team work and serving one another and it is important my team do the same.

The ladies will follow but it’s not as easy to just drag them out for a photo 😉

Monday is never moody when murph is around 💕

It’s always a pleasure having Murphy board with us 🫶🏼

Since starting Pampered Paws we have built up some strong relationships with dogs and owners that we deeply cherish, and we have been a support through the good times but also the bad times.

This job is more than just working with dogs, it’s an opportunity to serve and I’m so blessed to be able to do so.

It’s that time of year where the hair seems never ending and your dog looks like it’s ‘struggling in the heat’.

For the double coat owners, shaving your dogs coat isn’t going to beat the heat!

The two coat layers helps trap the warm air to enable the body to go into a cooling down process and believe it or not, panting is another cooling mechanism.

We strongly recommend regular deshedding sessions to help keep the hair at bay and to help keep your pup cool. During the deshedding session we can make sure the hair from the pads of the feet is removed (this is where the sweat glands is located) and the nails are clipped back to a good length.

Monday will be the last full day of grooming and we will be staying open until 2pm Christmas Eve for any last minute spruces for Santa paws 🐾

We have had some heavy news placed on us today. The loss of Fiona hasn’t quite sunken fully in as it only felt like yesterday I took her Christmas photo.

We will sorely miss you.
Touch wasn’t your love language but you made us feel loved.
You were such a beautiful soul who loved her walks equally as much as she loved to chill.

We will be sad today and tears have been shed but we are sending all the love to Fiona’s wonderful family. She was blessed to spend her years with you 🫶🏼 and it has been a privilege to get to know you all ❤️

The Fluffies 🐩

Yes they all belong to one family!

Yes their coats are a lot of maintenance. To keep the coat in top condition they come for weekly grooms.

And yes they bring a whole lot of joy, it’s like being in a sea of fluff!
