NO BITE, NO BITE, NO BITE!!!!
Personal Protection dogs can be a dangerous weapon. Yes the dog should be able to bite a suspected robber or protect family and property, but control is more important
One word that the dog must Never ever fail is the NO BITE command. When the owner call any person out loud, the dog should not get excited and start barking. The owner should have a good clear conversation without the dog talking with them.
Only on command should the dog bite.
REX IN TRAINING.
Luigi. Waited 2 years or more for this bloodline. This is the second time I exposed him or allow him to show aggression towards a man..what's in the blood is in the blood. SON OF Alfred aka ALPHA.
#crazyboy.
Willow...My client had serious problems with her chasing after every vehicle that will pass.
She had others strong points and we decided to develop her nose. She is Imprinted in firearms detection both WET and DRY.
Today a vehicle driving pass her is less important but her finding is.
Well done Willow and Chantelle!!!!
AZY.. going over to the next phase of his training. AZY needs to distinguish between a calm conversation between owner and friend/suspect and when the conversation gets to an argument...this will lead us to the control phase.
Note when the owner change his tone...

Day 7 in training!! 2x Odours.Still have lots to work on. We keep our search areas positive and the dogs make a kill each time. The clip has not been set to fast forward...we keep the pass fast and no room to play once we on the dance floor!!!. The dogs respond very well to me presenting a target area and is much needed in difficult search problems!.. cant wait to see what's going to happen in week 3...
Luigi. My young one. My trainer said. " Detection work is like a DANCE " Oneday the two of us will be doing the jazz through this busses....
What an amazing 10 days of training with the von Basco Pups and their owners. 4 of the 6 pups in one area and training together. Different strengths and weaknesses and one thing to be kept in mind they only about 11 months old. The owners and the pups were pushed and we all feel it.
Today is our final day and i will say my goodbyes tonight.
Hopefully and with God's will, I will see them at age 1year 5 month's.
Not Basco but VASCO. 7 moths old powerhouse!!! Put aside the flirt an here we go!!! I say it now! SKOLLIE 0 VASCO 36!!!
WILLOW on FIREARM and AMMUNITION detection. She starting to understand the concept of payment comes from the handler and not from the box or training aid.
We keep the session positive by playing games she know. By doing so we have one happy dog willing to work... WILLOW will not be trained for working purpose but for owners own amusement.
Bruno of von Basco Belgian Malinois at age 5 months old taking a ride with owner on quad bike. He never had any aggression training. He spots a person from a far distance and started barking.... can't wait to see them again. Houses are build from a good foundation. ..
Zag. 9 months old playing with owner. Zag normally charges at other dogs. Here we take the opportunity of a quiet day at the beach to play offleah. He need to experience and learn that the beach is a nice place and it's only for fun and not misbehaving. We had our failures and is what we need to work on it,we had our successes too. #almostthere
Willow in her early stage of detection training. She did outstanding with the boxes...transferring from boxes to vehicles.
Azy, Khaleesi and Safira... some close calls but I'm good. Always be sure about your equipment when dealing with a powerhouse.
