Whether she’s helping patients recover, comforting nervous owners, or clocking up kilometres on the road or the running trail, Jess brings dedication, warmth, and positivity into everything she does.

🐾 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 🐾

At Durbanville Animal Hospital, we've decided that 23 June will be our very own Kennel Assistant Appreciation Day. 💙

While there may not be an official day dedicated to these incredible team members, we know just how much they contribute behind the scenes. They are often the first friendly face a nervous patient meets, the gentle hands offering comfort after a procedure, and the caring eyes keeping watch when pets need it most.

From cleaning and feeding to cuddling, comforting, walking and monitoring our patients, their work is essential to everything we do. Their compassion, patience and dedication help make every hospital stay a little less stressful and a lot more loving.

Today, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to our kennel assistants for the countless ways they care for our patients and support our team 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮. 🐶🐱❤️
