Meet Basil the beaver yorkie.
Basil is a frequent flyer.
Basil is my boyfriend. He has got the biggest and brightest smile ever. To get a good photo is impossible cause Basil has zoomies all day. But he is a good cuddler at night. He is a little rascal, only likes his own people and myself. If any big dog want to play with Basil, he turns into a rottweiler. Oh but I love this little chap so much.

Yes, my dogs do lick plates, pots and pans clean. Best dishwashers ever. It still gets a propper wash in the sink with soap.

Home away form home, doggy hotel and daycare.
A place where your beloved pooch will be treated like at home.
Situated on a beautiful and secure smallholding in Mnandi, Centurion.
Small family business where each pooch becomes part of our family.
All pooches must be sterilized/neutered and fairly sociable. Regrettably we do not accommodate power breeds as all dogs roam free between each other, from Yorkies to Great Danes.
No separate enclosed kennels. All guest pooches sleep inside with us humans, either in doggy beds, couches or in bed with us.

Thank you for all your love and support this year.

And with this said I want to thank my daughter Julisa. She was my pilar this season. Feeding our furry friends, bathing some, mopping the floors every single day and so much more. She hasnt step foot out of this yard since 13 Dec. I couldnt have done this without her help and support. You are truely a blessing to me and so many furry friends.

Some beautiful photos taken by Liné van Antwerpen today. Wish all the pooches was in the mood for picture day, but hey they are like kids. We had a wonderful day with our family here and all our four legged friends. A few got some xmas food that fell of the table and counter by accident😉.

A feel good story

This is Peanut, the little toypom boy. He has been coming to us from last December and a couple of times during the year. But Peanut did not like anyone to touch him. To get him in the house at night was always a running game. He slept on a couch with his sister and that was it. As long as he was eating, we left him to do his own thing. Earlier this month Peanut came to visit again for a few days.

One night he was standing next to my bed asking to be picked up. I though to myself, o wow, we are getting somewhere.
He slept next to me that night and the morning he wanted to play. So I gave him belly rubs and played with him on the bed.
And it didnt stop there. Peanut finally trusted me and became a new lap dog.

Today my family came over for lunch and there goes Peanut. Wanting to sit on everyones lap. Playing musical chairs from one person to another. This little guy came a long way to trust anyone else beside his own family.
If there was a Braveheart trophy, Peanut would have won it.

Never ever give up on any pooch. Some of them just takes their own time and we have to go with it. Peanut we are so proud of you.
