This is Foxy the enjoying our fear free consultation room, with a soft textile blanket (that cats love) with calming pheromones.

😸We aim at reducing stress during vet visit. Clients can ask for a complimentary fear free blanket at reception.
😺These are also treated with calming pheromones to reduce stress and are placed over the cat carrier while you wait.

Beat the Heat!!! Make sure you are prepared for the this week:
💙Get your friend a splash pool to cool down in
💙Ensure there is adequate shade or shelter to get out of the sun
💙Don’t take him for a walk during the heat of the day
💙Provide him with lots of drinking water & ice cubes
💙Never ever leave your pet in a car

Heatstroke/stress can kill & you need to act like an emergency... signs to look out for:
🐾 Bright red tongue & gums
🐾 Excessive panting & difficult breathing
🐾 Salivating, vomiting or bloody diarrhoea
🐾 Seizures
🐾 Rapid heartbeat
🐾 Lethargy
Don't go walking long distances, especially late mornings and afternoons. Certain breeds are more predisposed: flat faces ( etc) black dogs, thick coat, overweight or with lung and heart disease.
