For the time being, we would like to ask our clients to drive to the back of the practice, and enter the building from the large animal doors.
We would also like to ensure our clients that we will continue to provide the quality of service and products that you are used to .

2025 is bringing VERY BIG changes at Ceres Veterinary Hospital and we are very excited to see the final product and to create an even better experience for our clients and patients.

Unfortunately, we, together with our clients, will have to adapt to certain (temporary) changes during this time. One of the biggest changes is that we will be working from the back of the hospital for time being. We are going to keep on delivering our high quality service, but we are asking that our clients please bear with us.

During this time, we will still provide you with all the same services, help and products that you have gotten to know at Ceres Veterinary Hospital.

We would like to thank you all for understanding and helping us to make this change as easy as possible.

We are very excited to let all our clients know that our staff is growing!!

We would like to welcome Sr Kayla Vosloo to Ceres Veterinary Hospital. She joined us middle December 2024, straight after finishing her studies. She grew up in Pretoria and have 2 cats, named Tigger and Mila. She loves being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She has a passion for caring and giving TLC to all animals, which makes her the perfect person to watch over our furry babies.

We would also like to welcome our husband and wife team, Dr Coenie and Dr Elna Blignaut. Dr Elna qualified in 2022, did her CCS year in Worcester and worked at Robertson Veterinary Hospital in 2024.
Dr Coenie qualified in 2023 and did his CCS year in Ashton. They have a cat, named Patrys, who was a rescue, that Dr Coenie fell in love with immediately after meeting her.
Dr Elna have special interest in small animal medicine, while Dr Coenie loves surgery, although they are very excited to see what a mixed practice has to offer and to see how their interests grow.

In their free time they like to do anything outdoors, including birding, cycling, hiking etc.

We would like to welcome them to our Ceres Vet family and are excited for our clients to meet them.
We hope that they are going to have a wonderful time in our beautiful valley.🐾

We would like to congratulate Sr Lize Reinecke(now van Huyssteen)with her marriage to de Wet van Huyssteen in October. With the excitement, it saddens us to have to say goodbye to her, not only from the practice, but from Ceres. She, together with her husband, will embark on a year-long missionary expedition into Africa.

Sr Lize was a great asset to our practice. With her happy, energetic personality, she brought joy to the Ceres Veterinary Hospital team. With her kind heart, she cared for all our furry friends with love and compassion.

We would Iike to wish them both the best for the new chapter in their lives.

You will be missed.

‼️‼️New Staff at Ceres Veterinary Hospital ‼️‼️

We are very excited to announce that a new Veterinary nurse will be joining our Ceres Team in middle December and that we will be welcoming two new Veterinarians early January 2025.

In the meantime we would like to ask our clients to please bare with us during the festive season as we are currently understaffed.

During the next two months we will only be able to help and consult those patient's with appointments, as this will be more essential than ever before.

We would like to thank our clients for their continues support and understanding in this matter.

It is with a sad heart, but with great appreciation that we have to say goodbye to Dr Denise Grobler. She and her husband will be leaving for Australia in November.

During her time at Ceres Veterinary Hospital, she made a big difference not only in each patient's life, but also brought much joy and laughter to our team and quickly became part of our Ceres Family.

We would like to wish them both the best for this new chapter and adventure that they will be embarking on.

We know you will be an asset to any practice you join. We will miss you, but we are excited with you for this amazing new journey.
