We are a professional Animal Hospital situated in the beautiful Ceres valley, delivering outstanding veterinary services for more than 54 years. We aim to be a one-stop practice for all your retail, small animal, equine, farm animal, exotic and even wildlife needs. We have a small as well as equine operating theatre; and the latest in diagnostic imaging and dental equipment.

We would like to congratulate Sr Lize Reinecke(now van Huyssteen)with her marriage to de Wet van Huyssteen in October. With the excitement, it saddens us to have to say goodbye to her, not only from the practice, but from Ceres. She, together with her husband, will embark on a year-long missionary expedition into Africa.

Sr Lize was a great asset to our practice. With her happy, energetic personality, she brought joy to the Ceres Veterinary Hospital team. With her kind heart, she cared for all our furry friends with love and compassion.

We would Iike to wish them both the best for the new chapter in their lives.

You will be missed.

‼️‼️New Staff at Ceres Veterinary Hospital ‼️‼️

We are very excited to announce that a new Veterinary nurse will be joining our Ceres Team in middle December and that we will be welcoming two new Veterinarians early January 2025.

In the meantime we would like to ask our clients to please bare with us during the festive season as we are currently understaffed.

During the next two months we will only be able to help and consult those patient's with appointments, as this will be more essential than ever before.

We would like to thank our clients for their continues support and understanding in this matter.

It is with a sad heart, but with great appreciation that we have to say goodbye to Dr Denise Grobler. She and her husband will be leaving for Australia in November.

During her time at Ceres Veterinary Hospital, she made a big difference not only in each patient's life, but also brought much joy and laughter to our team and quickly became part of our Ceres Family.

We would like to wish them both the best for this new chapter and adventure that they will be embarking on.
