We were so excited to see a Dalmation at the practice!! This is not a breed you get to see everyday, so what an absolute pleasure when you do!!

Harvey came in for his sterilisation and was an absolute champ for the whole procedure!

Did you know that Dalmations were used at fire houses dating back all the way to the 17th century?
They did not have fire trucks as we have now, and relied on very fast moving horses to pull their water pumps and equipment to the scenes. Dalmations are known for their affinity with horses, and their endurance, speed and calming influence made them ideal companions. They would run alongside the carriages, clearing the way and keeping other animals at bay!
