Exciting news. It's time for Fish Tails Aquatics first raffle ever!!

- The raffle entry will be R50 per line and you are allowed to purchase as many tickets as you would like.

Limited additional entries can be earned as follows:
- winning 5 lots in an auction. Each auction affords ONE opportunity to gain an extra entry
- sharing AND liking the raffle post on Facebook
- sharing AND liking the raffle post on Instagram
-referring a friend to buy a ticket, it's as simple as them giving me your name as a referral. However, the prerequisite is you yourself must have already purchased one or more tickets. For each successful referral you will get an additional entry. NB. if they do not follow through with payment, you will not get the extra entry.
- Payment for the raffle will only be done when all PAID slots are filled up and the final draw for the winner once all payments are in. So really it's a group effort :)

- Pages 1 - 10 with 20 lines available for paid tickets

- Pages 11-12 with 20 lines each available for auction wins

-Since slots are limited for additional entries, make sure to try and get yours in as soon as you can so you don't miss your chance!!

-So that nobody feels their money is wasted, every ticket bought can be redeemed as a store voucher when you spend R500 or more✌️

-Meaning, if you take 3 tickets as an example, you can use one R50 voucher for each R500 you spend however, this only applies to paid tickets.

-The vouchers become redeemable after the raffle draw and are valid for 1 month from draw date. If you do not use them, they will fall away. Non Negotiable.

NB. Vouchers can only be used to purchase items at normal retail and excludes auction wins.

-Lastly, if we can get the paid slots filled out before the end of January 2023, all paid entrants get a permanent 10% discount on all normal retail purchases for the entire month of February 2023!!

Exclusions may apply and will be stated where necessary.

Dear members, and my dear friends and those who have grown to be our family.

It is with a heavy heart that I type this message.

Rowan, co-founder and owner of Fish Tails has passed on this evening.

It is a devastating loss for his family and our fish community.

We wish his family all the strength to get through this difficult time and I will mourn the loss of someone who had become a dear personal friend and brother to me over the past year.

He will be sorely missed by all that knew him and all whom he has helped.

May he rest in peace 🙏

As fish keepers ourselves, we understand the cost of running a fishroom and we want to do our best to help those that do, keep their costs down even if just a little.

All Fish keepers that have a Fish room to manage will be given up to a permanent 15% discount on all Equipment and Food.

Fish are excluded from the discount, but there will be exceptions where the discount will be given. There will also occasionally be some dry goods that are exempt from the discount but this will be specified where necessary.

This discount will also not apply to items won on the auction and items that are already on sale.

To qualify for this discount you will need to provide the following:
1. Photo and Video proof of your Fishroom. The video should include yourself in front of your fishroom as well as yourself stating the current date and time before you submit. This is for verification purposes. If you don't like it....tough...no discount🤷‍♂️
2. You will need a minimum of 15 tanks with the smallest being a 1.5ft to qualify. There may be some concessions but it will be handled on a case by case basis and our decision on the matter is final. We will include ponds as well for qualifying criteria.
3. Every 3 months, you will need to submit photographic evidence of your fishroom so it can be ensured you are not abusing the discount.
4. Anyone caught sending us fakes will have their names put out publicly for being dishonest and for people to be aware not to deal with you. This hobby does not need individuals like this.

Please feel free to share this message with all your fish friends that have fish rooms that will like to be part of this initiative.
