Anesthetic, while administered & monitored very closely, affects every patient differently.

Pre-Anesthetic blood tests provide:
🔴Information on the function of the patients organs (heart, liver, kidneys
🔴A greater understanding of how the patient may tolerate the anesthesia, especially pets with conditions such as epilepsy, heart conditions or senior pets.
🔴Base line blood work for future visits to compare abnormalities or changes

Pre-anesthetic blood tests are done on the morning of the surgery and are highly recommended for any pet undergoing anesthesia.

When Did You Last Deworm Your Pet?🤔 Internal parasites 🪱 can affect the health of your pets AND YOU! 😳 Pets can pick up these parasites by ingesting the parasite or its eggs in contaminated food or water or after licking surfaces or objects that have been contaminated with faeces from an infected animal. These parasites can cause diarrhea, weight loss, pale gums, vomiting, worms in faeces, and in severe cases malnutrition🤢 Faecal float is a routine diagnostic test used to confirm the presence of internal parasites or worms. A sample of stool is mixed with a special liquid that causes the parasite eggs to float to the surface. The eggs are then collected from the surface of the liquid with a glass slide. The slide is looked at under the microscope 🔬 to observe the parasite eggs which identifies the type of adult parasite that the animal may be infected with and the vet can then treat the pet accordingly. Regular deworming ensures your pets and you are free from internal parasites 🐕🐈‍⬛ Speak to our friendly receptionists about the different products available.
