Change the paper at the base of their cage daily and clean perches weekly. Placing a bowl in their cage so that your budgie can bathe when they please is also a biggie 🌿

Snakes, lizards, frogs, toads and newts slow down all of their body processes almost to a complete stop in very cold weather.

This is known as diapause and in this state the animals use up just a small amount of their store of body fat and can survive for some weeks, barely alive!
