For the past 2 years we have been developing a concept for a new documentary, and recently we found out that it has received developmental funding from the National Film and Video Foundation 🎉

The doccie looks to unpack the history of the sugarcane industry in South Africa, and will hopefully be dropping towards the end of 2022 🙌🏻

This is our 2nd project that has picked up funding and we're beyond proud!

The deadline for submissions has been extended 🎉

We are extending our deadline for art submissions to WEDNESDAY AUGUST 25TH 🙌🏻

We will collect from anywhere in South Africa!

You can submit any form of artwork that captures the essence of a Vervet monkey and display it at our art expo at the screenings 🎉 it can be any size, any medium, and any price.

From every artwork sold, 50% goes to you, 40% to the Vervet organizations involved in the documentary, and 10% for the expo fees.

We've got so many incredible submissions already and can't wait to see yours 🐒

We would like to say a huge thank you to for creating this beautiful mural for us here at CROW and also a huge thank you to Kyle for making this happen. Kyle is working on a documentary called Tails of Hope to create awareness for vervet monkeys and thought it would be a cool idea to add some footage of giffy working his magic. Giffy Duminy is a nature lover who uses his artistic talent to raise awareness for real life issue that are going on around us on a daily basis, whether it's Marine life getting caught in nets to the lion bone trade he covers it all. Tails of Hope Documentary Screenings will have 2 screenings on the 28th of August 2021 and the 29th of August at DHS. Go and check out their page for more information. 20% of the ticket proceeds will go to all the organizations out there trying to help vervet monkeys and there will be an art expo where 50% will go towards these organizations. Please help this worth cause.
