She is not a very old dog but she had a hard life before she came here. She suffers badly from arthritis. We took her to the vet yesterday for a check up and to put her onto stronger medication.

Apart from that, she's a happy, friendly girl, but quite scared of thunder. During thunderstorms, she joins the mob on the humans' beds so she feels safe.

This is the life that we give elderly, abandoned and disabled dogs in our kennel free rescue - on the Big Walk this morning, watching the storm coming, a daily adventure for the dogs in our care, with warm beds, good food and a huge amount of love to look forward to every single day.
