Welcome to Goedemoed Animal Hospital

The Goedemoed Animal Hospital has grown from its humble beginnings in a converted garage, about 30m from the present site, in 1998, to a purpose built facility adjacent the OK Mini Mark Centre in Lubbe street, Wellway Park East, Durbanville.

Dr. Garth Mills, returning from a stint in Ireland, started the clinic as a single vet practice. In 2001, Dr Stephen Maberly joined the team and helped it grow into a busy, fully equipped hospital, with a complement of 3 vets, a veterinary nurse, 3 receptionists and 2 hospital assistant. In 2018 we were privileged to have Dr Dani Mรผller-Deibicht and Dr Virginia Samiec join the team.

As seasons change, so Dr Garth Mills has decided to retire from full time veterinary practice as at the end of 2019. This is a great loss for our hospital and he will be missed. Fortunately, he will still continue working at Goedemoed Animal Hospital from time to time in a locum capacity.

Our Vision:
