Thank you to all my wonderful clients, friends, foster families and adoptive parents . Without you I would not be able to save these precious babies. Unfortunately we do have some sad stories but mostly we have amazing stories. Rescue is not easy but The Cat Shack has managed to sterilize and rehome 454 animals during 2024. Thank you to everyone who has contributed in some way or another, you all know who you are and you are all extremely dear to Ulli and I. It was a very tough year and I appreciated all the messages and well wishes. A huge big special thanks to Harmelia, Glen Marais and Ivy Road vets who always manage to help steri the masses and are always on hand if I need medical assistance and advice with the animals. You guys rock!! May you all have a wonderful happy, healthy 2025. Be safe.

Milo needs a new home!
This beautiful boy is 5 months old. He was originally one of the reservoir puppies that was rescued earlier this year. He was adopted by a family who have now decided that they are not ready for a puppy and no longer want him. He is the happiest, sweetest boy with the most amazing gentle nature. All he wants is love. He is good with other dogs and cats and loves children. He would do well with an energetic young family willing to take him on walks and include him as a family member. Another awesome Saturday. Thank you to everyone that adopted, bought hoodies, scarves and leggings. To everyone that donated your preloved clothing, household goods, blankets and food, you are all amazing and have no idea how much we appreciate your support. It is also always awesome meeting new people and having a chat and a good laugh. Our Saturday mornings are hectic but very special THANK YOU!!

This beautiful white young adult is back up for adoption. Unfortunately her owners care giver is allergic to her. After numerous doctor visits and allergy tests the doctor suggested they rehome her as the medication is also not working for the caregiver. The owner is heartbroken but has no choice as he needs his caregiver to be happy and healthy. He asked that we try re-home her again as she is a beautiful cat, super loving, friendly and needs a forever home preferably indoors. Please share so we can find her a family of her own.
