Good luck at the Olympic Games FIGARO DES PREMICES and Alexander Peternell.

Did you know that Alexander Peternell is the first equestrian to represent South Africa TWICE at the Olympic Games.
At the 2012 London Olympics, Alexander Peternell competed in the Eventing discipline for South Africa. He rode his horse, Asih. Peternell finished in 49th place individually after the dressage, cross-country, and show jumping phases.

It's noteworthy that Peternell's participation was marked by some controversy. Initially, he was not selected for the South African team, but he successfully appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which ruled in his favor, allowing him to compete. This was South Africa's first representation in equestrian at the Olympics since 2004, marking a significant moment for the country's presence in the sport.

We would like to thank and congratulate the riders and horses that took part in our Internal Training Show on Saturday. We were filled with pride seeing our riders, most of whom were competing for their first time, others whose horses have never competed in some or any of these disciplines.

The main purpose of our internal shows is not to compare or rank our riders and horses, instead we identify their weaknesses and strengths in a show setting.
