A dog we treated recently had a chew bone stuck in the oesophagus— a painful and dangerous situation. Thankfully to our endoscope (the only one in the Helderberg!), we were able to remove it without invasive surgery.
Feeding bones may seem natural, but the risks — blockages, broken teeth, internal injuries — often outweigh the benefits and can cause serious harm to your pet.
