Ploepsie and Capri were recently surrendered to the SPCA Grahamstown and before they could even feature on Facebook, they were adopted to the most amazing home!
Their new owners report that they were very busy the first night and slept almost all morning and said they are both the most gentle and affectionate cats.❤️ Thank you for adopting.

“Hi SPCA Grahamstown Team,
It’s Abby and Zadie here, and we wanted to give you a little update on our new lives! We’ve been with our forever family for two months now, and wow, have we grown! We’re living the good life and have settled into a pretty cozy routine.
Our days are full of adventure—playing with our toys, sneaking sticks, and learning from our big sister Ally. She’s tough but fair, and we’re doing our best to keep up with her training. Tug of war with Ally is always a blast, even though she’s super strong! We’re also getting really good at barking at the neighborhood cat—just doing our part to keep everyone safe!
Our favourite part of the day is our nightly routine. We have a yummy supper, and then we curl up on the couch for warm snuggles and a movie with our human brother and sister.
And we can’t forget to mention the fireplace! On those cold winter nights, there's nothing better than curling up together in front of the fire. It's so warm and comforting, and we love feeling safe and loved.
Thanks for giving us such a wonderful start to our lives. We’re happy, healthy, and enjoying every moment! Here is a little video we made - enjoy it.

DONKEY IN DISTRESS
This donkey has been assisted by the SPCA Grahamstown. It was not an easy task and required a veterinarian to sedate the donkey. More pics and info on the rescue to follow.

UPDATE KITZEE has been adopted. Charlie and Chester are still waiting for their forever homes
KITZEE
Kitzee and her brother were brought to the SPCA Grahamstown as strays. Kitzee's confident brother was adopted into a lovely home, but shy Kitzee kept to herself.
A volunteer has been working with her and her confidence is growing in leaps and bounds!
Kitzee needs a home with an experienced cat owner and a quiet household (with older, sensible children).
Kitzee (with the stripes) appears in the video clip with Charlie and Chester who are also available for adoption. Kitzee is already sterilised.

UPDATE ON DAISY
Daisy (the doggy caught in the snare) was recently adopted from the SPCA Grahamstown. We received a video from her owner who says that Daisy is settling in so well. Thank you for adopting this special girl!
