Millstream Christmas Show

Wow! What a special day to remember! 🌟 It’s truly heartwarming to reflect on the progress of all our riders and horses this year.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible sponsors. Cross-Cover Insurance Solutions and One Insurance went above and beyond with fantastic prizes for our competitors (huge thanks to Mickey Cripps!).

Special shoutout to Flippi from Remax for the stunning cloakroom makeover and to Mindi Hunt from Tork Craft for the sleek new fold-up jump measuring stick.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our amazing team. To our dedicated coaches Lauren Pretorius, Leigh-Anne Bode, Tayla Liversage, Sally, Morgan, and Seona Cochran - thank you for your passion and commitment!

Lastly, we bid farewell to Tarryn Vd Merwe, Lexi, and Waldi. You will be deeply missed, but we wish you nothing but the best as you embark on your new adventure at the coast.

It’s always a pleasure to watch our Top Millstream Coach in action! Today, Lauren Pretorius made us incredibly proud by finishing 8th in the highly competitive 1.40m class with Capitald Cashmere and securing 7th place out of 134 competitors in Capital Coretta’s first 1.30m Championship class.

BURLINGTON CUP 2024:
Congratulations .pretorius.equestrian for the incredible rounds on Capital Coretta and Capital Cashmere this past weekend.

Capital Coretta and Lauren Pretorius placed 4th in a very competitive 1.25m Championship class after being the 2nd highest qualifier.

Capital Cashmere and Lauren Pretorius also placed in the highly competitive 1.35 Championship class. This team is unreal to watch and true inspiration to us all.

ALL IN A DAY’S WORK… What a busy and exciting morning at Millstream Equestrian Centre! The new Capitals seamlessly joined the lessons, showing great promise, and we wrapped up the morning with a wonderful SANESA NW prize-giving ceremony. A huge congratulations to all our Champions! 🏆 And a special shoutout to Quinn Evans for being named Primary School Captain for 2025—an incredible achievement! We can’t wait to see what next year brings! 🎉

**MILLSTREAM STEYN CITY RESULTS:** The Millstream team made us proud this Sunday, with rosettes all round at both Maple Ridge and Steyn City. A special mention goes to Lauren Pretorius, who placed 4th in the 1.30m A2 and 4th in the 1.30m Championship at Steyn City with the incredible Capital Coretta. This was only Capital Coretta’s second 1.30m show, and we are so excited to see what this talented pair will achieve in the future! Lauren Pretorius and Capital Cashmere also had incredible rounds in the 1.40m classes, always a pleasure to watch them in action. Keep an eye on our page for the Maple Ridge results coming soon!
