The Animal Physio Co got a great introduction to Hermanus living with .lautenbach yesterday on Grotto Beach.

Scout is a long-term patient who has been fully rehabilitated after a total hip replacement in one of her hindlimbs. She still has hip dysplasia in the other leg, but her owners’ ongoing intervention, a good diet and regular physiotherapy mean that she gets to enjoy a full and active lifestyle!

Thank you to each and every client and veterinarian who supported us this year! We are so very grateful for everything. We will be taking a much deserved break from the 22nd December to the 6th January, after which we will be back to looking after all of our beloved patients.

As an aside, we would like to make a special mention to all those this year, and particularly in the last few months, who lost a loved one, in human or animal form. This has been a very difficult year for so many people and there has been a lot of loss. We are keeping each and every one of you in our hearts this festive season.

Remember the welcome post for Pauline Burrows new horse, Gunston, shared a little while ago?

Below, see the incredible transformation that Gunner (as he is now affectionately known) has undergone after only three weeks of TLC and the extremely hard work that his new owner has put into him. She has been following the rehabilitation guidelines set out, and has been implementing all the techniques that she has learned religiously. Notice especially how Gunner was unable to stand square in photograph one vs his improved posture 3-weeks later!

We can’t wait to see how he continues to improve going forwards.
