I started house & pet sitting after a friend asked me to look after her home and animals while she was away and enjoyed it so much that I decided to offer my services to people who require a reliable sitter
. As a banker in a high powered corporate job I had many responsibilities so coming home at nights to my family and furry friends was the highlight of my day. I have always been passionate about animals and have had various pets, from cats and dogs to birds and fish. I even had a goose called Clementine in the late 70's. She was a real character and taught me a lot about animal behaviour. Sadly the bachelor flat that I am currently renting is too small for me to have pets of my own and I do so miss having animals around me so pet sitting fills a void in my life. I like to meet with my prospective clients both human and furry to ensure that we are a fit before I accept a commission. I also like to get some background info so as not to disrupt your pets' routines. My services are very basic. For house sitting I am basically there to ensure that your house is secure, make sure lights and alarm are on at night and during the day I keep myself busy with marketing my services and reading. For pet sitting I do the basics. Feeding your animals, taking them for walks and of course loving them and ensuring that they are comfortable. I have no objections to pets that want to sleep on the bed and in fact welcome the company if that is the kind of relationship you have with your furry friends. To date I have completed five commissions and can provide names and telephone numbers for references on request.
