Shongweni Club will be hosting Cedar House Annual Christmas Party 2024 🎄

A Non-Profit Organization that works with Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in
KwaNyuswa, Valley of a Thousand Hills. The children they work with come from impoverished and
challenging backgrounds.

These are some of their finished projects:-
1. Weekly distribution of maize meal, bread, cakes and cereal
2. Building of ablution facilities
3. Bunk beds - one bed per child
4. Hosting of children on weekends and school holidays
5. Lunches for school children
6. Social Events - outings and parties
7. Life Skills Training
Once again, we are planning a Christmas Party for 44 children on Saturday, 07 December 2024.
We want to gift every child with clothing (tees and shorts).
The teenagers will receive toiletry sets (8 boys and 13 girls)
Any donations will be so appreciated and please bring along everyone to join in the festivities 🎄❤️
Attached please see wishlist of clothing sizes and toys for donations 🧸
We also have 3 lovely Christmas Trees and lots of decorations that are really wanting to look Christmassy and loved 🎄🎅...So please parents bring along the kids to help us decorate while you have lunch, a cold drink or coffee at The Saddle Inn Restaurant ❤️

The Shongweni Club wishes to express its deep sadness at the passing of Hetty Blake.

Hetty ran our livery yard for many years and was a much-loved member of our community. Her kindness, dedication, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of so many, and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Gerald, Geraldine, and Nicky during this difficult time. May you find strength and comfort in the cherished memories you shared with her.
