It's that time of year, lovely Summer sun🌞 followed by the grumbles in the sky🌧🌩⛈️

Here are some tips to help your pets through the noise and flashing light:

1. BRING THEM INDOORS: Keeping them away from the outside elements will help calm them. By playing some soothing music, it will help muffle the sounds of Mother Nature🌩⛈️

2. MAKE SURE THEY ARE MICROCHIPPED OR HAVE AN IDENTIFICATION TAG: Sometimes accidents happen and our furry loved ones escape despite our best efforts. Make sure their microchip details are up to date or they have a collar with an identification tag on with upto date details🆔️

3. HAVE MEDICATION AT THE READY: There are many options depending on how storm phobic your pet is. Always keep calming meds in your pets first aid kit. Sometimes they just need a little something extra to help🐾❤️ we stock range of natural remedies🌿

4. CREATE A SAFE SPACE AND DISTRACTION: If your pet has a crate or a bed, make sure it's readily available for them. Give them a toy they are familiar with to create comfort. They are toys and mats designed to relieve anxiety and help soothe ☺️🐾 we also stock a varies of Snuffle Mats, lickimats and other interactive toys 🐕🐈

Our Story

Village Feeds, in the Hilton Village Centre, is a comprehensive animal feed store, providing exclusive veterinary approved pet food and products, as well as livestock animal feeds and products. Something of a Vet Shop and a Farm co-op all in one conveniently located store in the centre of Hilton Village.

You can collect your dog and cat food, a hay bale for your livestock, fresh Finchley Farms midlands barn eggs, and even a bag of fire wood quickly and conveniently. Situated on 30 Hilton Ave, please pop in and visit us for a chat about all your pet requirements from nutritional to overall health advice.
