Our horses get treated regularly with bemer treatments. The bemer is great for treating injuries, illness and for just general maintenance. Yawning and relaxation/sleeping is a common reaction to the treatment. Here is Timmy showing his appreciation of his treatment.@

Our horses, the heart of our riding school and horseback safaris, are struggling in the extreme heat we are experiencing in the Lowveld.

Our furry children are overheating and are at risk. Fans are no longer a luxury, they are a necessity!

Meet Lexi, our ginger female, ruler of the Equine House. This fearless feline 🐈 often comes to visit us while we are teaching in the arena, cleaning the tack boxes, or just for a stroll up and down the barn, ensuring all is in order.

🌟 From Tumbles to Triumph: Ivanté’s Inspiring Journey 🌟

In less than four years, Ivanté's equestrian journey has been nothing short of incredible. Starting her riding career at Equine House, she honed her skills on different horses. The turning point came when she got her own beautiful horse, Tiger Lilly, and began competing.

But the road wasn't easy. A serious fall and injury sidelined her for 8 months, and the fear of jumping lingered. Just when things seemed bleak, Melissa Swan - The Barrel Bee extended an unexpected lifeline: Barrel Racing. Ivanté took the leap—and found her true passion.

In only a season and a half, she rose through the ranks, finishing 2nd in South Africa’s Youth Division on points this year. Despite qualifying for the National Champs, a setback struck when Tiger Lilly was injured. Thankfully, Melissa stepped in, lending her Zanadu Bear. With only three weeks to prepare, the duo didn’t make the finals but achieved something bigger: Ivanté passed her assessment to become one of just five riders selected to represent South Africa on a 6-week Barrel Racing Rodeo tour in South Dakota, USA, in June 2025!

Riding some of America’s top barrel racing horses, she’ll compete in four rodeos and train under world-class coaches, aiming to sharpen her skills and leave a lasting impression.

From setbacks to successes, Ivanté’s story is one of courage, determination, and resilience. Watch this space as she continues to chase her dreams on the international stage! 🐎🇿🇦
