Mother and son. This is my 3 legged doe who lost her leg to a fence :( I had to decide between putting her down or seeing how she coped on 3 limbs. Vet friend Jon Alison did a sterling job at the amputation, and to my surprise she started uddering up 6 weeks ago. I thought her body would prioritize her healing over fertility. And blow me down if she didn't pop out beautiful twins. I still feel bad for her and I wonder if I made the right choice ethically, but from what I can see, she doesn't feel sorry for herself and adores her new little kidlets. Goats are dramatic at times, but they are tough!!

Whatever Floats your Goat

“Just Kidding” isn’t really a business - its a passion. An absolute passion for goats, and particularly Nigerian Dwarf Goats. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to have goats and my dream has finally become a reality. I am not really sure where we are going with this just yet, but the breed has been gaining popularity for micro-dairy produce (it is already very popular in the USA and their milk has the highest butterfat content of all dairy goat breeds). Nigerian Dwarf Goats also make fantastic pets and our little herd has become an integral part of our family. At this point we are focusing on growing our herd, however will be looking for loving homes for some of our little kids.
