Ekwos Training and Development, is a learning program based on natural techniques to gain an understanding of equine psychology. It is designed to increase the students awareness and improve feel and understanding in all aspects of horsemanship and equine interaction. The Ekwos modules include theory, practical lessons, ground work and ridden work to refine the horse/human connection and create more harmony in all equine disciplines and work environments.

This picture is an example of why regular maintenance is necessary. This horse lost a molar on the lower jaw which left an open cavity. The opposing tooth had nothing to wear against and this is what happens. The protuberant tooth is now locking up the lower jaw which would affect his eating and performance under saddle.
