Silkworm Shop South Africa operates primarily as an online e-commerce that is able to send feeder insects, frozen rats and pet accessories throughout the country. We pride ourselves with excellent service and extremely efficient response time.

We are also one of the first ever online platforms in South Africa to produce Silkworms year round as well as our locally produced silkworm chow.

We started breeding silkworms year round when noticing how much nutrition it added to our chameleons in spring time. With the mission to find out how to produce them year round with the Silkworm Chow we developed all of our systems and diets within a 18 month period.

We are steadily growing and have acquired the necessary resources to produce top quality feeders in large quantities.
