If you've ever had a cat, you're probably well acquainted with the "selective dining" struggles. 🙀 Are we right?

But don’t stress, we’ve got a few steps you can take to get your cat to start eating what you have given them!

🐱Switch to new food: if your cat stops eating the regular food, you may just have to look into changing up their cat food.
🐱Introduce new food slowly: you can slowly mix the new food in with the other dry kibbles, and slowly exit their old food
🐱Mix up the food: if you are introducing a new dry food to your cat, you might want to include some wet food in the dry kibbles to encourage them to eat the whole bowl
🐱Stop feeding them your food: don’t give your cat any form of human food - not only can this be dangerous for the cat, but bad habits are hard to break.

We love the grey muzzled, frosty face of our senior fur babies. Do you know the signs of old age in your dogs?

Life expectancy varies between the different breeds & species, with most cats outliving their dog roommates🏡🐾.

What are a few signs you might see as your pet gets older?

Your pet will sleep more💤. Your pet will have a reduced appetite, as their metabolism & activity levels decline.

It is not uncommon for older dogs to skip a meal. It is important to feed your ageing dog a diet targeted towards senior pets (a high quality protein & added antioxidants formula supporting joints & the brain).

Your pet will loose muscle mass, just as humans do 💪. Your pet will have slower movements & tire more easily. Your pet will experience declined vision & loss of hearing.

Old age is not a disease, but as your pet gets older, they are prone to health conditions. If you notice the following signs, have a chat to your trusted veterinarian 🩺
