THANK YOU to all our supporters & donors. All donations go towards veterinary costs at Kariega Community Vet Clinic. Without you we could not have achieved this:

228 sterilisations this past year and grand total 1200 since late 2020.

We were contributors to 2 mass steri events in 2024 - 109 dogs sterilised.

The usual veterinary care for parvo, biliary, a few broken legs and amputations due to motor vehicle accidents, puppies with rickets, mange treatments and TVT chemo treatments etc

Huge respect and thanks to our compassionate vets at Kariega Veterinary Clinic - Kariega Community Vet Clinic and their staff. Our community furkids receive the very best care.

Thank you to the volunteers who give their valuable time to assist with transporting the steri furkids and sick & injured furkids to the clinic.

📢 Introducing Eku Paws! 🐾

We are excited to announce a new initiative in Kenton to support dogs in need in Ekuphumleni. Eku Paws is a dedicated group of volunteers working hand in hand with the community, Domestic Animal Care Kenton, Kariega Vet Clinic, and the Kariega Foundation.

Our main goals include conducting a dog census, supporting the local sterilization drive with consent forms, and promoting overall animal well-being and welfare. Education is one of our top priorities, and sustainability is our ultimate aim.

Join us for our first fundraiser, the Kenton Krufts Dog Show, on Sunday, August 25th, 2024. Come support our cause and help us make a difference!

F I N A L L Y !

Dr Marette obtained her MSc Degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Pretoria today. She looked into Streptococcus Uberis mastitis in pasture based herds.

So if you are wondering why she has not been around in the practice so much the last 3 years, besides the management of our practice and entertaining the 4 small Dreyer kids, she was also stuck behind this project.
