Last week was owl week! This majestic owl was one of the few rescued and brought to us by a kindhearted local.
After examination, it was determined that his leg was unfortunately broken. He was also very lethargic and thin.
After monitoring and feeding him up a bit, he was deemed strong enough for Dr Cailin to perform surgery to pin the leg.
Yesterday he was much brighter and he was collected by Raptor Rescue Rehabilitation Centre for further treatment and monitoring.
We wish you easy flying and another chance at a beautiful life!
