It's always good to see handlers and their dogs complete both levels of puppy training, as it means their pups have got a really good start on their journey to becoming a happy family member. This latest group graduated recently and are already looking forward to doing more advanced training with their dogs!

Pups are welcome to start as soon as they have their second round of inoculations. Our classes focus on giving your puppy all the right ingredients to grow into a well-mannered, confident dog. Classes have lots of off-leash social time, they learn to sit, down, walk on lead, stay (puppy version), tug & drop, and come.

And here we have it .

Molly was surrendered to Knysna Animal Welfare, and found herself struggling at the kennels.

And the rest is history. Gael opened her heart to Molly , and gave her the best home out there 😉
Molly struggled with loud noises, dogs barking and would generally shut down at anything that overwhelmed her.

Gael swiftly enrolled her in Happy Dogs puppy 1 and 2 , which she excelled beyond our wildest expectations

A massive congratulations to Gael with Molly for persevering , and graduating from our puppy 2 course.

Soon this inspiring pair will be starting agility. Watch this space for updates

6 weeks can be a long time, or it can fly past - as it did for our latest graduates from our Intermediate Puppy course. We had 2 teeny, tiny pups, and 2 energetic larger ones, but everyone got on very well and they all completed the course successfully.

Lots of hard work by their dedicated handlers means that they have developed strong relationships with their pups and are now confident to go anywhere with them, knowing they understand each other completely. Well done to you all!

Introducing Alfie and Ella at Happy Dogs play care

Ella was once a service dog , who had a very serious job to do. This is Ella now , who has retired as a service dog and is living la vida loca

Alfie is a little rocket . He came from KAWS , and he thinks he is a Great Dane. He has come such a long way with making friends and living his life to the fullest.
