We offer riding lessons for beginners who would like to start riding, to more experienced riders who would like to brush up on their riding. From Kids (4+) to adult of any age.
(Own horse also welcome)

We are located about 12 km outside Kokstad. We have a jumping and dressage arena and space to do some hacking.

We have private and group lessons available, but all new riders will have to book a private lesson for their first lesson and will then be integrated into a group if they can control their horse properly.

Private lesson R150
Group lesson R100 (2-4 riders per group)

Lessons last for about 1 hour.

Weekdays and Saturdays are available and times to suit you (on a first come basis)

Riding helmets are available, but appropriate shoes must be worn (Most school shoes will do as they have a small heel)

Basic info

Riding hats Must be worn at all times by the rider. If you don't have your own we can provide them. If you would like to have your own, we can supply hats. (Links and prices coming soon)

Appropriate shoes must be worn for riding. The shoes must have a smooth sole and at least a 1 cm heel (similar to the pic below). Real riding boots can be supplied by us (but can be very expensive), or similar boots can be found at a few clothing stores in town.(Links and prices coming soon)

All new riders will have to do at least one private lesson (more if they are beginners) to assess their ability before they can join in with an appropriate group.
Beginners will only join a group once they can safely walk, turn and stop the horse.

Each lesson will last approximately 1 hour and the riders may be asked to tack up or untack their horses and put the tack away properly.
