We are a family run Organic Farm in the heart of Muldersdrift, Johannesburg. After experiencing how difficult it was to obtain organically grown produce, and when we discovered the well documented health benefits of pomegranates, we decided to turn some fallow land into a farm, supplying the market not with just another fruit, but a Superfruit – organically grown Pomegranates. In 2018 we decided t

o add additional crops to our estate and transform our monoculture farm into a biodiverse food forest. We are Certified Organic by EcoCert with the European standard of Organic practices. We maintain the highest standards to ensure we receive our certificate on time, annually. Our soil, water and leaves are regularly tested and our soil organically fed to ensure our trees are well looked after and the fruit is of the highest quality - nourishing as nature intended. We are very excited to announce we have partnered up with and to bring you a whisky tasting experience like no other.

This is a Foraging Whisky tasting experience hosted on our farm.

What to expect on the evening:

- Drinking the ultimate Macallan collection including the DC 30 🤯
- A foraging tour where we get to pick and taste fruits, edible flowers and herbs from Ganico’s organic food forest and learn about sustainable farming
- An interactive 3 course dining experience with produce picked straight from the farm
- PLUS A COMPLIMENTARY BOTTLE OF MACALLAN RARE CASK TO TAKE HOME WITH YOU VALUED AT R5000 🤯

Where can you get our eggs?

Did you know our happy hens produce some of the most delicious eggs? We feed our hens a diet of GMO free feed, loads of greens from the farm, as well as some of a pomegranate gems and sugar snap peas. Our ladies are super happy and healthy.
