WE ARE DEVASTATED TO HAVE TO PUBLISH THIS POST FOR ROLO, BUT HE CAN NO LONGER WAIT 💔
It seems redundant to say this after all this time but ROLO came to us as an 8 week old pup and has grown up only knowing kennels as his home 😔
We have never had a beautiful animal have to wait this long for a home and whereas he has plenty of love and care at the SPCA, he has not had the opportunity to learn about the outside world and that window in his development has closed. This makes it even more difficult to find the RIGHT home for him now and we are heartbroken that no one has shown interest in him so far 😪
In the whole time he has been with us and despite him being posted and networked every single week, we received only 2 enquiries that never materialised into applications and one application where the meet and greet did not work out through no fault of the existing pet, ROLO felt insecure and fearful when the other dog (neutered male) attempted to engage in play - it was sadly not a good match for him.
ROLO needs a miracle at this point despite our and our followers’ efforts in networking him relentlessly every week. He will need a home with a sterilised female companion where he will be given the time, patience and opportunity to feel safe and progress at his own pace.

We are looking for an opportunity for ROLO to find his forever home, please no empty promises and any negative comments will be deleted out of respect for our staff and networkers who have tried their best for ROLO since day 1 💔💔
