Hi, I’m Merlot… and I’ve been waiting too long 🍷🐾

I was born in November 2022, and for most of my young life I’ve been waiting here in the shelter. I’ve seen friends come and go, wagging their tails all the way to their forever homes… but somehow, I’m still here.

I’m a playful, loving boy with so much to give. I’ve been told I’m well-socialized, sweet, and full of charm—yet the outside world still feels a little big and scary to me sometimes. What I really need is someone patient and kind, someone who will show me that the world isn’t so frightening when you’ve got love to hold onto. 💛

I don’t want to spend any more of my life waiting. I want to spend it with you—walking, playing, snuggling, and just being the best friend I know I can be.
