Meet little Milo🐾

Milo was found by one of our staff members and brought to Sterkspruit Veterinary Clinic. We treated Milo’s skin with and dewormed him. With the help of our wonderful staff, we found Milo a new home and a beautiful new life.

Meet Phiri, the brave Boerboel, that survived a deadly puff-adder bite. Phiri was admitted to Sterkspruit Veterinary Clinic and treated successfully with anti-venom. He is very happy to be home again.

The outcome of treatment of puff-adder bites can be quite unpredictable, as the age of the snake and amount of venom released can differ. Any pet bitten by a puff-adder should receive emergency veterinary care.

September already? You know what that means - Rabies awareness month. During the month of September Sterkspruit Veterinary Clinic offers FREE rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats (while stocks lasts).

Rabies (hondsdolheid) is a fatal disease of animals, that can be spread to humans. Fortunately it is 100% preventable through vaccination. Please keep your family and pets safe with annual rabies vaccination.

With the rising temperatures it is important to keep up to date with vaccinations, tick and flea control.

We would like to share this very happy reunion between Sam and her best companion Sasha. They were separated for approximately 14 months, during which time Sasha was prepped to make her big move to the UK. For immigration purposes dogs and cats need certain blood tests to confirm they are healthy and allowed into a new country.
